The most common form measurements are included; covering roundness, flatness, concentricity (in and out of plane), parallelism and perpendicularity. Our unique RunOut feature displays both digital and analog versions of your part’s runout while capturing the max and min values and the angular locations of each, as well as calculating the total runout. Use this for quick in-process checks or to align your part for one of the more detailed form measurements.

Do you have shafts with a keyway, or flanges with bored holes and you need to measure the rest of the surface for roundness of flatness? MicroForm can automatically remove interruptions in the surfaces based on user definable parameters. You can also manually edit out individual segments easily using our drag and drop feature on the results plot.

Want to analyze the frequency of undulations in your part to identify machining or grinding issues? Activate MicroForm’s Harmonic Analysis feature to display a bar graph of all frequencies and their amplitudes on the same page as your form measurement results.

To speed up the measurement process even further all MicroForm gages offer a dual probe option. This allows for checking part alignment and/or runout of two surfaces at the same time, choosing from individual probe or sum/differential display views. You can also perform concentricity, parallelism and perpendicularity measurements requiring reference datums simultaneously.

On screen “step-by-step” instructions assist the novice operator through each measurement in a way that doesn’t reduce the efficiency of experienced users.

Customizable displays and output options are built in to meet your particular needs. User selectable scale resolutions and SAE or metric units provide full flexibility for all of your part requirements. Add your part number and comments to capture all details pertinent to the measurement for display or to print out with the results. Even add your company logo or contact information to the results document for a truly professional final touch.

Quickly save, print, convert to PDF, or export and share measurement results and graphical charts using available Ethernet network connections for statistical process control (SPC) and traceability.
